When will my order be sent out?

Once you placed the order, usually it will be sent out within the next business day, but please allow 4-7 business days for orders to be shipped out during the sales or peak seasons. A tracking number will be sent out via email once we sent out the order which will also have your order ID with a list of items included. From there onward you will be able to track your order and see its whereabouts. If you haven't received an email confirming your order ID then, please check your 'Spam' folder before getting in touch with our customer representative.

What about the shipping time?

The shipping time will depend on the type of shipping method you've chosen. For more info, please see the 'Shipping Rates' section for estimated time deliveries and costs. However, the shipping time mentioned is an estimation and Alphactory is not liable for unexpected delays caused by any natural disasters, political unrest, riots etcetera which could prevent our courier service from delivering the item on time.

Alphactory does not have any control on shipping times or delays caused by border control (if any). However, we will try out best to resolve the issue if our customers are unsuccessful in getting their orders on hand after attempting to sort things out with delivery courier service.



Customs and Duties on International orders.

Is there a Customs Duty? What do I do?

All international orders outside of Australia might be subjected to a specific customs duty which must be paid by the customer and is not inclusive with the payment of the shipping or the product. The cost may vary depending on the country's customs rules, and Alphactory is not liable for paying any fees at the border.

If a customer refuses to pay for customs fee at their local border, then the parcel will be shipped back to the seller’s facility. A refund will be issued back to the customer after deducting the cost of the shipping (as delivery was attempted and will be considered as a service payment).

 

What happens if the information provided such as address or is wrong.

What happens if I have provided incorrect address or I changed my mind?

Usually, we process and ship the order within the next business day unless it is on a sale period. You can change your items in the cart as much as you want before making the final payment. Once the payment is processed and the order is truly on its way, we are unable to do anything at that point. However, using the tracking number provided you can try contacting the courier delivery service to amend your details and place the correct address.

If you’ve changed your mind and the order has been processed it is the same scenario as we can't do anything after we shipped out the parcel. However, please email us at support@alphactory.com.au with your query and our customer service will be in touch to resolve the issue and process you a refund (shipping cost will be deducted from the refund as delivery was attempted).

Keep in mind that if the parcel goes missing for any incorrect information filled by the customers, Alphactory cannot be held liable and no refund will be issued in such circumstances.

 

Currency conversion.

The price at the checkout suddenly changed. What could be the reason?

Usually, our price is set to AUD (Australian Dollar), which is where we are located and based on your location, the currency might convert to your local currency. Alphactory will not charge customers any extra cost other than the price of the product and shipping (if applicable) and the conversion of the currency will be set automatically by payment gateways to the current market conversion value.

 

What happens if I missed my delivery?

I missed my delivery. What would happen to my parcel?

If you’re at work or outside your home, usually it will come down to two scenarios.

If your parcel requires a signature, then it will be taken down to your local collection depot and a 'missed delivery card' will be left outside the house or in the mailbox. You must collect the item within 10 business days from collection depot, or it will be sent back to us.

If your parcel does not require any signature, usually it will be left outside the house in a safe place for you to receive. But if you're living in an apartment or in a place where there is no suitable place to leave your item, then it will be taken down to your local collection depot.

Alphactory is not responsible if the parcel delivered goes missing after receiving the delivery confirmation as shipping courier will only leave the parcel outside based on the best judgement on whether it will be safe to be left outside. Alphactory has no control over how the parcel is being delivered hence can’t be held liable for missing parcel after being delivered.
